France 2015 Day 21: Funny old day.

Last night's dinner:

Tursan

Foie gras
Disappointing and overpriced duck - complained and got a reduction.

Joyous but banal entertainment in Vieux Boucau last night:

A band of highly skilled musicians put on a "crazy" rock show on the promenade last night. I can't be bothered with this sort of nonsense - a waste of musical effort. But the musicians themselves emitted such joie de vivre and the audience loved them and all that happiness transmitted itself to me. People were dancing spontaneously, I noticed.

Actually, in a pub round the corner, these chaps were quite good.

Morning Sartre Ritual:

In between buying pates and meats etc for some visitors who were coming for lunch, I managed a delightful Sartre plus coffee session in downtown Vieux Boucau.



Changed drumming regime:

Can't be bothered getting up early to practice drumming down at the beach. Instead, today, after our visitors from Glasgow departed after coming for lunch, I played on the terrace looking over the sea.



Currently listening to:

Actually, was so busy writing up the results of my morning Sartre ruminations today that I found no time to listen to any music.

Currently reading:

I hate to admit it, but I may have made a mistake in purchasing these two books for my Kindle: they flattered to deceive.
