Successful trial

Made a trial cradle for a pair of HO scale streetlights.

The lampposts will be installed in the strip of wood farther away from the station.
But because I was uncertain where to drill holes or cut slots or how big they should be, I did a trial on a short section of wood.

The wires will be bent back up the way and thence through the two slots.

Two larger holes were drilled through the baseboard to accommodate the protruding posts and wires.

Success
A reminder of the wiring plan.

The 12 volt feeder wires will run up the slot between the two strips of wood and connect with the wires from the streetlights.

Last night's dinner:

At this point in time, I actually can't remember what we had for dinner last night - there's no photographic record on my phone to aid my memory.

Drumming practice update:

Spent an hour repeatedly recording myself trying to iron out a little glitch in one of the Samba patterns. Getting there, but it's a long slow process.
