Old Hunstanton: 11th August to 16th August 2-14

Railway matters:

1. Visited the model shop at Old Hunstanton and purchased some cable clips just for the sake of buying something and supporting the shop.

These model shops look the same wherever you find them: amateurish, old-fashioned, geeky and frequented by boring males; no wonder I feel at home in them.

2. North Norfolk Railway: Sheringham to Holt

This is an impressive operation: loads of rolling stock and basically a 20 minute steam pulled railway journey through the Norfolk countryside.

Sheringham Station

The train arrives.

A former Prime Minister waits to get in.
Rolling along.

Some of their rolling stock.

A beauty.

This interior brings back memories.

As does this one.

Will email Rinse FM today to ask them to reverse any such mad decision.

Drumming practice update:

Practised everyday on drum pad in hotel room for about 45 minutes trying out a new left hand grip I spotted in a photograph in the Daily Telegraph.
