Using photos for HO scale scenery

Back to the steps of the church which I want populated with worshippers and tourists.

This could be done with little HO scale plastic figures. But, I have had some success with cut out photographs eg when I filled the tables of this street cafe.






So I thought I'd try something similar with the church steps and downloaded a few suitable images from the web of folk standing or sitting or walking up church steps.

I then reduced the images to HO scale and printed them off on photographic paper.



Used a couple of plastic HO scale figures for comparison.

Obviously, I'll cut the figures out but the effect will be basically as follows:
