Replacing stained glass windows where insurance is not applicable.

Decided to replace the stained glass windows in the church's dome.

The dome

Windows removed
I'm going to make two changes:

1) instead of each window being entirely of one colour eg all blue, all yellow etc, the windows will be sub-divided into 4 quadrants and each quadrant will be a different colour:

2) the black leading separating the panes of glass is going to be beefed up. Instead of using a black felt tip pen to make the lines, which inevitably produces a rather flat effect, I'm going to lay sections of dark wool along the joints between the individual coloured panels.

On a clear piece of acetate, I drew 8 trapezia to match the 8 windows.

Then I'll cut out quadrants from coloured acetate sheets and stick them on the transparent acetate.
