Miscellany:

On the way home, cycled over the latest contribution to cycle tracks around Glasgow, a bridge over the Clydeside Expressway.

No sooner over the bridge than I heard an enormous crack! A puncture!

Near the scene of the puncture.

Tried pumping up the tyre but to no avail.

Had to walk back to Partick where a Cycle Repair shop fitted a new inner tube while I waited.

Excellent service for £10.

The shop in question.

  1. sorry to hear about the puncture, we were just commenting on a cyclist on Sunday who appeared to have a puncture and was sheltering from the downpour under tree and feeling sorry for him. I will tell my son in law that he should be more creative with his lego models. Lastly 'Spiders Bridge' Kirkintilloch I don't think you can cycle on it now but I will tell you when I see you next the reason I mentioned.
