Use of software in making scenery for HO scale model railways.

I came across this US firm called Evan Designs that sell software for manufacturing all sorts of scenery for model railways.

Amongst many possibilities, you can design features for buildings eg fill in window frames with interior scenes or even design whole buildings. You can even import photos of real buildings and then adapt them to scale.

All that's left to do is to print out the end result and assemble it as if a flat-pack.

Here are some images from the website.

Using photos as a starting point.
Making scale buildings.
I'm not sure if it's available in the UK. But I must look into it because, with age, I'm finding painting things in HO scale increasingly too fiddly to enjoy.
