Panhard Dyna

My HO scale Jouef Panhard Dyna arrived through the post from eBay.

Oddly dimensioned box for the packaging

The real thing.

Currently listening to:

The Hindustani singer, Lata Mangeshkar, a recording of whose I heard on BBC Radio 3 Late Junction this week.

Born in 1929 she has a uniquely plaintive voice.

Despite my embargo on purchasing stuff from iTunes, I will download this album as soon as I've finished writing this blog.

Last night's dinner:

Forgot to take photo again but it was a take-away chicken chow mein from this establishment in Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.

Today's lunch:

Was stung yesterday in Edinburgh. Bought this 1/2 loaf of bread from an upmarket bakers and nearly fell to the floor when the girl announced with a smile (no wonder) "That'll be £2.30!"

I thought she was going to say 90 pence.

But, unlike most loaves, it did slice beautifully.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Still thoroughly enjoying reading (till 1am this morning):

Some fat people can be very light on their feet.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Miscellany:

Getting rid of some books to Oxfam charity shop
