The Rosy Crucifixion

Completed the soldering of the Philips joints for the platform lighting - the most sustained and productive period of activity on the layout for many, many months.

Close up of two Philips joints

Ultimately, the wires will be underneath the baseboard

And instead of going "down", the feeder wires will come "up" through the hole to power the platform lights

But the stars of the show for me were the support band from Glasgow, The Rosy Crucifixion.

Could only find this picture on the web and I forgot to take photos from my phone. But there were three of them. The female front woman was a fantastic guitarist.

The book after which they're named

The Rosy Crucifixion reminded me of the Slits, that insane group from the 70s.
