I decided to take the DCC option for controlling the trains ie Digital Command Control.
This will involve hours of intricate modification to each of the locomotives installing a little silicone control chip in each of them.
I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew!
Anyway, I ordered the DCC control equipment and it arrived today.
Box looks good and it's supposed to be state-of-the-art but the whole thing looks dated and feels very lightweight.
Next I will have to buy some silicone chips to put inside the locomotives.
